Brown lifted Davis' leg up to his shoulder, but Davis simply hopped back and stepped over Brown for a takedown of his own.

After two periods Davis lead 10-3.

Davis continued to manhandle the young Boilermaker and finished with a 16-5 major decision. PSU 4-0

HWT John Laboranti ranked #16 in the country, faced Purdue's Chris Kasten.

Laboranti got the bout's first takedown just :50 into the bout to lead 2-1 early on.

Laboranti chose down to begin the second period and he struggled underneath.

Laboranti looked to score in the third period, but Kasten managed to force a scramble that ended up with Laboranti on his back. Pinned a 6:29 for an upset victory for Purdue.

Senior Mark McKnight met Purdue's Akif Erin at 125.

McKnight ranked #10 nationally was aggressive from the start.

McKnight chose down to start the second period and quickly escaped to a 6-0 lead.

McKnight worked for bonus points in the third period and got a 15-5 major decision. PSU 8-6
